The Rock Exotica’s Butterfly Lift is a portable performer flying system. This system can be set up in almost any venue. The Butterfly lift is a compact manual counterweight system engineered with a 10:1 safety factor and a working load limit of 350 lbs. at 6-8 feet per second. It comes in two configurations that accommodate 40′ and 60′ house height.
The Butterfly Lift is adaptable to rig in nearly any location of sufficient height and suitable support structure to fly a performer. Careful consideration must be given to suitable anchors and rigging methods when installing the Butterfly Lift. Only individuals properly trained in theater or aerial rigging should perform this task.
